Dr Wolfgang Hess is a transactional and litigation lawyer with over 28 years of professional experience in complex M&A and finance transactions and subsequent dispute resolution. After 16 years as a partner in major international law firms, he founded in 2014 a specialised law firm based in Frankfurt am Main, which focuses on advising on M&A, corporate finance, venture capital and private equity for multinational companies, investment funds, financial institutions and service providers as well as medium-sized companies and start-ups with a focus on energy including renewable energy, real estate, financial services, infrastructure including digital infrastructure. He also represents clients in arbitration and domestic as well as cross-border litigation, including global asset tracing and seizure. The law firm has been operating under the name Hess Legal in the legal form of a limited liability company since 2023. In addition to his work as a lawyer, Dr Hess is a member of advisory boards of various companies and is involved as a business angel for start-ups.
